Amongst the subtle or so evident
Of all that is visible or unseen
My mind and heart ponders to no end
Questioning my existence and my being
Won’t it be easy to carry on with the mundane?
Why trouble self with the doubts and disdain
But then if I do not, will this life be means to an end
I dare say not…I will never be able to break the vicious circle
Of being born again, be a part of the mirage
See fellow beings suffer and stay helpless
As they move on with the so called bare existence
Enamoured by the desires and meaningless possessions
And fall victim again to the same roll of dice called time
The choice you make makes what you might become
I chose to take the untaken road
A part living the life as we see
And another to find what it could be
Not afraid of falling or failing
Perhaps I could end even worse
But no dearth in trying or remorse
Perhaps I could break the chains
Not to be born again
Yet live freely forever again…
The choice you make makes what you might become
